Control for air-supported sports halls (air domes)
The hall is ready. Before the players arrive.
Bookings, temperature, lights and access in one system. We do not make the hall envelope — we supply the control.
Switchboard, local control and software from AERDOMA. For a new or an existing hall, after a technical assessment.
Booking
Automatic hall preparation
Light and QR access
-
For new and existing halls
An independent system. It fits a new hall as well as an existing one.
-
Local control
The controller handles the hall on site — it runs without internet.
-
Energy overview
Consumption metering and its allocation to individual bookings.
Who supplies what
AERDOMA is not a manufacturer of air-supported halls. It is an independent control and operations system that can be installed on a new hall as well as on an existing one.
The hall manufacturer supplies
- the envelope and structure
- fans and air handling
- the heating unit
- civil works
- anchoring and structural design
AERDOMA supplies
- the electrical switchboard
- sensors and metering
- the local control unit
- safety and operating logic
- lighting
- the access system
- bookings
- the cloud application
- energy and operating economics
- reports
- optional camera integration and AI analysis
The scope of supply is set after a technical assessment of the specific hall. We do not compete with the hall manufacturer — we complement them.
From booking to result
One booking. One controlled process.
Booking → hall preparation → light and access → safe operation → energy metering → cost and report.
-
Booking
Sector and time.
-
Automatic hall preparation
Heat at the right moment.
-
Light and QR access
Only the sector in play lights up.
-
Safe local operation
No waiting for the cloud.
-
Energy metering
Consumption tied to the game.
-
Cost, margin and report
Cost of every booking.
We build pressure and temperature control on what already works in the manufacturer's technology. We do not replace it — we add planning, access and evaluation on top of it.
The hall knows who is coming and when, and prepares itself accordingly. Pressure and temperature control stays where it is good — in the technology and in the local controller.
Booking a sector orders pre-heating, light and access at once. The operator switches nothing on and the player deals with nothing.
How it works
Four layers and one rule: the lower layer always overrides the higher one.
-
Safety is in hardware.
The emergency pressure switch, the manual-reset safety thermostat, motor protection, the pressure relief damper and the spring return on the actuators need no software. They work even when the controller is down.
-
Control is in the hall.
Internal pressure, the temperature cascade, wind and snow response, CO and smoke, start sequences and generator start all run in the controller in the switchboard. None of it waits for the network.
-
Planning is in the cloud.
Bookings, adaptive pre-heating, weather forecast, energy accounting, access rights and inspection records. They need data from outside, but they are not time-critical.
-
The application is for the human.
Control screens, configuration, reports, customer bookings and tickets. The only layer you see — and the only one that controls nothing by itself.

If the internet fails, the hall carries on with the last plan for 72 hours and protects itself. QR entry keeps working. The cloud is for planning, not for survival.
Where we are now
The control application, the cloud and the client application with the ticket are finished. Since September 2026 they have been running at the first site — a hall whose air handling has its own automation, so AERDOMA controls the lighting, heating, pressure through the unit panel, bookings and alarms there. What is still missing is the first hall running entirely on AERDOMA.
We are looking for operators who want to be there from the start — on better terms, and with direct influence on what the product becomes.
Verified against a reference controller
The reference controller is ours and it is software — but it is not a demo. It is the specification for whoever programs the real controller: the same registers, the same catalogue of twenty-two alarms and the same MQTT-over-TLS link with a certificate on both sides.
The target platform for the air-supported hall is an industrial PLC running Linux, the WAGO CC100. Linux is a condition, not a preference: the controller has to host the control room view, the archive and the MQTT client with no second computer in the cabinet.
- 47 halls we controlled on other systems
- 9 countries where we ran hall control on other systems
- 72 h the hall runs on the last plan without internet
- 29 faults in the alarm catalogue
- 5 s live telemetry interval

Call us
A hall operator does not want to fill in a form. They want to ask someone whether this will work for them.
